Beat the Heat Canvas Enhancement Retreat 🌞

Mark your calendars for our newest retreat starting June 22nd . We will stitch and socialize through the end of day on the 24th!

Who would benefit from a retreat like this ? Everyone ! Are you a new stitcher? We can help you with choosing stitches to maximize your canvas design. Are you experienced but stumped on a particular canvas? We will walk you through our “break it down” thought  process. Have you wanted to try beading , embellishments or ribbon but have questions? Let us answer those questions and get you started.

The Beat the Heat Retreat includes lunches, snacks, & of course we will have goodie bags! We will have a meet & greet welcome party on Saturday evening the 21st . During the retreat, you may browse & shop without disruption. We will stay closed to public shopping during the retreat in order to keep our focus on you. 

Send your canvas to us before May 15th in order for us to pull threads and begin to prepare stitch ideas for you. Send us a brief note about your stitching experience and what you hope to learn during the retreat. Make the best of your time and experience by choosing a canvas you haven’t been ready to tackle on your own. If you don’t have a canvas that fits these needs we would be happy to FaceTime with you to choose a new project.

If your canvas isn’t bound, we will do it upon receipt. We will mount your canvas on stretcher bars in preparation for class . ( you may send your own bars or we will add them to your thread costs ) You may choose to take your canvas home in your luggage or we can mail it to you for an additional charge. 

We are looking forward to seeing previous participants and meeting new  ones!  We have plenty of lighting but you may choose to bring your own. Service animals are welcome at our dog friendly shop. We will do our best to ensure you have an excellent experience.

** Second half of the class fee due May 15, 2025 and is nonrefundable.
