This lovely canvas needs a home!
This is one of the most majestic looking owls we have ever seen in a canvas. He is so realistic and the details in the border are fabulous. Melissa Shirley has added a regal quail and magnificent cranes to this series.
This canvas is 18x18 and priced at $310 (normally over $440).
We also have a stitch guide from Julia Snyder and a kit. Total cost for everything is $560.

This is fabulous but somehow I don’t think I would ever finish it all. The detail is so exquisite.

I already have the canvas, but have not put in one stitch. Are stitch guides available separately? The painting and detail are so beautiful that I am leaning toward just doing continental and preserving the shading. I think this would make it look more like an old tapestry; also, I think a softer yarn would be appropriate. Too many decorative stitches and yarns may be distracting from the beauty of the painting. Any thoughts and answers would be appreciated. Jean
