Here are the answers to the top three most common questions we get about our online classes.
Q: What is the total cost of the class?
The most common question we receive is about the total cost of our classes, which typically includes the canvas, stitch guide, class, and thread/bead kit. Here’s how it works:
- Non-refundable deposit: To reserve your spot, we charge a deposit that covers half the cost of the canvas. The second half is charged at a later date to help manage costs.
- Class fee: This depends on the number of sessions offered. Typically it's $40 a class.
- Threads cost: Unlike other needlepoint shops, we stitch along with you. This means we confirm the cost of threads about two weeks before the first class, ensuring we can offer classes promptly and keep them economical.
You can always call us for an estimated cost, but the final amount will be determined closer to the class date.
Q: When will I receive the zoom link to access the online class?
On the morning of the online class, we will email you a Zoom link to ensure it’s at the top of your inbox and doesn’t get lost. If you encounter any issues, please call us—our staff is on standby to assist you.
Q: How do I access the class recording?
What sets us apart from other shops is that we record every class. This means you can always access the class if you can't attend or want to revisit specific techniques. Once editing is complete, we email a link from our sister company, Needlepoint Fix. If you're not already a member, you'll need to create a free account to watch the class.
