If you haven’t heard the exciting news yet, BeStitched has expanded! We’ve opened BeStitched Studio, a brand-new event space just two doors down from our Scottsdale needlepoint shop.

Lisa and Lauren dreamed of creating a space where creativity and community could come together. Of course, the Studio gives us more room for the needlepoint retreats, classes, workshops, and special events we love—but the vision has always been bigger than needlepoint.

BeStitched Studio is a place for ALL crafters.

Whether you love needlepoint, painting, Mahjong, or simply want to try something new, we want the Studio to be a welcoming place to gather with friends, learn a new hobby, get creative, and connect with our community.

And we’re so excited to introduce two of our first events that bring that vision to life!

🀄 Learn Something New: Mahjong 101 with Little Miss Mahj

Mahjong has officially made its way to BeStitched Studio!

On Monday, September 14, we’re welcoming Ariana Alford, founder of Little Miss Mahj, for a beginner American Mahjong class designed for anyone who has been wanting to learn.

Never touched a Mahjong tile? Perfect! Ariana will walk you through the tiles, the NMJL card, the Charleston, and how to play your first real hands—all in one evening.

A former school teacher, Ariana created Little Miss Mahj with a mission we absolutely love: getting people off their phones and back around the table together. Her classes are welcoming, approachable, social, and just a little competitive!

The class is limited to 12 participants so everyone gets plenty of hands-on guidance.

Join us on October 8 for a colorful evening of painting with local artist Hannah Golonka-Flores. Hannah is a full-time artist and small-business owner inspired by the colorful beauty of the Southwest, and she’ll guide you step-by-step as you create your own Arizona-inspired cactus painting.

No painting experience is needed! Come ready to relax, get creative, enjoy light snacks, and spend the evening with good company.
